Internal vs closed vs open testing

What each track is for and which one counts toward production access.

Three tracks

TestDaş works on closed testing by default because that is the track Google requires for new apps.

  • Internal: team-only, fast, does not count toward production requirements
  • Closed: invited real users — the stage required for production access
  • Open: anyone can join; even if requirements are met, it does not replace closed testing (check current Play Console policy)
