How to add Play Console test users

How to add Play Console test users: email lists, Google Group, and making sure testers can see the closed test build.

Why it matters

If you skip adding Play Console test users, testers cannot see the closed test build on Play. The invite link on TestDaş alone is not enough — the same list must be defined in Console.

Step by step

  1. Step 1

    Open the closed testing track

    Play Console → Test and release → Closed testing. At least one release should be live.

  2. Step 2

    Testers (email lists)

    Add [email protected] under Testers, or create your own email list.

  3. Step 3

    Save and wait

    List updates can take a few hours. Ask testers to use the “download the test version” link in Play.
