How to apply for Google Play production access

When to submit the Play Console production access form and how to answer common questions.

About 5 min read

When should you apply?

After at least 14 days in closed testing and Google’s required active tester threshold. Applying too early increases rejection risk.

Open the form from Play Console → Publishing overview / Production access.

Common form topics (summary)

Google’s questions change over time; follow the current text in Play Console. Typical sections include:

  • App purpose and target audience
  • How many people tested in closed testing and for how long
  • How you found testers (TestDaş community / mutual testing)
  • Which features they tested
  • Feedback you received and improvements you made
  • Why you want to move to production

Be honest and specific: e.g. “20 real Android users used the app daily in closed testing for 14 days and provided feedback.”

After you apply

Google usually replies by email within a few days. If rejected, read the reason, fix gaps, and apply again.
